Teaching HERALD

Brand voice

Brand voice is not one setting. It comes together from three places you already use:

  • Your Brand voice skill captures the hard rules: tone, banned words, sentence length, how you handle humour.
  • Your writing examples in the Knowledge Hub show HERALD what good looks like by showing, not telling.
  • Your memory absorbs the corrections you make as you review drafts.

The more you review, the tighter the voice gets. You do not need to write a style guide on day one.

The fast path to “sounds like me”

  1. Paste 5 to 10 posts you are proud of into the Knowledge Hub as writing examples.
  2. Write a short Brand voice skill. One page is plenty. Name banned phrases, preferred sentence shape, how you handle humour.
  3. Edit the first ten drafts by hand. Memory covers the rest.
