AI Blog Content Agent for Ghost
HERALD researches and writes long-form posts in your voice and delivers them into your Ghost site, as drafts by default, feature image included.
From topic to published Ghost article
Researched like an article, not a prompt
HERALD gathers sourced data, context, and competing viewpoints before writing. Every claim in the finished post traces back to a source, which matters when your blog carries your reputation.
Written for readers, structured for Ghost
Posts run 800 to 1,800 words with a real opening paragraph and clean h2 and h3 structure. The title is sent as the post title, never repeated in the body, and an excerpt is generated automatically.
Approved, then delivered to Ghost
You approve in myHERALD, then the post is created in Ghost as a draft by default, ready in your Ghost admin, or published immediately if you choose.
Built for how Ghost works
Connects with one Admin API key
Create a custom integration in your Ghost admin, paste the Admin API key into myHERALD, and publishing works. Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted installs both work.
Clean HTML, automatic excerpt
HERALD writes markdown and delivers clean HTML to Ghost, with a custom excerpt generated from the post body. Headings, lists, links, and code blocks arrive intact.
Draft or published, per post
Each post can land as a draft for a final pass in the Ghost editor, or go straight to published. The feature image is set automatically from the post's media.
Nothing publishes without you
HERALD drafts, reviews, and fact-checks on its own, but it does not publish on its own. Every Ghost article lands in your review queue first, where you approve it, edit it inline, or send it back with notes. You get two gates: approval inside myHERALD, plus draft status in Ghost by default.
Ghost questions, answered
How does myHERALD connect to Ghost?
Through Ghost's Admin API. You create a custom integration in your Ghost admin (Settings, then Integrations), copy the Admin API key, and paste it into myHERALD. That is the whole setup.
Does it work with both Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted Ghost?
Yes. Any Ghost site that exposes the Admin API works, which covers Ghost(Pro) and self-hosted installs.
Do posts publish immediately?
Only if you want them to. By default, posts arrive in Ghost as drafts after you approve them in myHERALD, so you keep a final check in your own editor. You can also choose to publish immediately, per post.
Can HERALD set the feature image?
Yes. The post's image is set as the Ghost feature image automatically. HERALD can generate an on-brand image or use one you provide.
Put Ghost on autopilot, keep the final say.
HERALD researches, writes, and publishes. You review and approve. That is the whole deal.
