Comments Inbox
The Comments Inbox is one queue of the inbound comments people leave on your published posts, pulled in from your connected platforms. You read and reply from a single place instead of hopping between apps to keep up with each conversation.
What a comment shows
Every card in the queue carries the context you need to reply without leaving the page:
- The author who left the comment.
- The comment text itself.
- The post it is on, with a View post link out to the live post.
- A like count and a relative timestamp (for example, “2h ago”).
- An AI intent badge that labels the comment as a Question, Lead, Praise, Complaint, Feedback, or Other, so the ones worth answering first stand out at a glance.
Filtering and views
Filter the queue by status (Needs reply, Answered, or All) and by intent, with a live count next to each option so you can see how many comments fall into each bucket. Needs reply leaves out anything you have already answered or marked as handled. Switch between a flat List view, where every comment is its own card, and a By post grouping, where comments are gathered under the post they belong to.
Replying
On any comment you can click Suggest reply for an AI-drafted reply grounded in your knowledge, complete with citation chips that show what it drew on. Edit the draft before it goes anywhere, or skip the suggestion entirely and choose Write my own. Send posts the reply straight to the platform.
When you have a backlog, Draft all generates suggestions for up to 10 unanswered comments at once, so you can review them in a batch. Replies do not count against your content quota.
Threaded view
Opening a single post, either by clicking its comment count or switching to the one-post view, shows the full threaded conversation. That includes your own first comment and any replies you have already sent. Your contributions are labelled “You” and are never flagged as needing a reply, so the queue stays focused on what is actually waiting on you.
Staying current
Opening the inbox pulls fresh comments live, and there is a manual Refresh if you want to check again without leaving the page. New comments raise a notification in the bell menu and an “Unread Comments” count in the chat context bar that links straight back here.
Two card actions clear things out of your way. The X marks a comment as handled: it leaves the Needs reply filter and the unread count, but stays readable under All in case you want to come back to it. The eye icon hides a comment from the inbox for good, which is what you want for spam — it asks you to confirm first, and there is no way back from the inbox once you do.
Turn it on or off
The inbox is workspace-scoped. Settings → Account has a Comments inbox toggle. When it is off, HERALD stops collecting comments and notifying you, and the inbox stays empty.
Platform coverage
Reading and replying work on Facebook Pages, Instagram Business and Creator accounts, Threads, and Bluesky. On X you can reply, though how much inbound reading you get depends on your X tier. LinkedIn support will become generally available once myHERALD receives Community Management API Standard Tier access.
