Working with HERALD

Media

When a draft needs an image, HERALD generates one on brand using your Visual Style guide. You can upload your own, pick something from the Media library, or regenerate from the review page with a fresh prompt.

  • Media library lives under Media in the sidebar. Grid view, search, filter by source (uploaded or generated) or tag.
  • Upload by drag and drop. Up to 10 MB per image, 100 MB per video.
  • Regenerate from the review page without leaving the draft. Attach a reference image if you want consistent style across a series.

Image lightbox

Click any image in the Media library, on a Pipeline card, or on the Review page to open a full-window lightbox. Use the arrow keys or on-screen controls to step through images without closing the view.

Generate image: model and quality

The Generate Image modal has a Model dropdown so you can choose between the default Gemini engine and the OpenAI engine. When the OpenAI option is selected, a Quality selector (low, medium, high) lets you trade generation speed against detail.

Brand logo badge

You can mark one image in your library as your workspace brand logo. Open the image in the detail modal and check the Brand logo checkbox. A “Brand logo” chip appears on that card in the library grid.

Once a brand logo is set, HERALD attaches that real logo to generated images instead of letting the model render a wordmark from scratch. You control which generated images receive the badge and which corner it appears in from Agent config.

Remix

A Remix action on any library image uses that image as the base for a new AI-generated variant. Write a new prompt (or leave the original) and HERALD generates a restyled version. The original image is never modified. The remix saves as a new library image and records which image it was remixed from, so the lineage stays clear.
