Integrations
The Integrations tab is where you connect myHERALD to the platforms it publishes to. Six are live today: LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Google Docs, Webhook, and WordPress. Pick the one you want to set up and follow the dedicated guide below — each takes a couple of minutes.
Most integrations are one-click OAuth (myHERALD never sees your password). A few use credential pairs: Bluesky takes an app password generated on bsky.app, WordPress takes an Application Password generated in WP Admin, and the Webhook integration takes whatever auth method your endpoint expects.
Setup guides
Bluesky
A public social network built on the open AT Protocol. Fast-growing, developer-friendly, no gatekeepers.
Google Docs
Google's collaborative document editor. The default for multi-party review outside myHERALD, and a clean archive for long-form work.
The world's professional network. 1B+ members across industries, regions, and seniority.
Webhook
A programmable escape hatch. Receive approved content at any HTTPS endpoint for custom routing.
WordPress (self-hosted)
The web's most-used CMS. Self-hosted WordPress is still where serious long-form lives.
Twitter / X
Real-time conversation at scale. Short-form public posts, threads, and long-form on Premium.
Connecting & disconnecting
Open Settings → Integrations. You will see a card per supported platform with a Connect button (or a Connected badge if you have already wired it up). Click Connect, sign in on the platform's side, approve the permissions, come back. The card switches to Connected and myHERALD is ready to publish.
myHERALD keeps the connection alive in the background. If something expires or gets revoked on the platform's side, you will see a red dot on the card and a banner on the dashboard telling you to reconnect — clicking it walks you through the same flow as the first time.
To disconnect, click the kebab menu on a connected card and pick Disconnect. myHERALD revokes its tokens and stops publishing to that destination. Already-scheduled posts stay on the calendar but will fail until you reconnect; published history is never affected.
Coming soon
These platforms are on the roadmap and will get their own setup guides once they ship: Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Threads.
