Working with HERALD

Pipeline

Every piece of content in your workspace lives on a single board. The Pipeline is your at-a-glance view of where things stand: what HERALD is working on, what is waiting on you, what is scheduled, what went live this week.

Cards move through the columns automatically as HERALD progresses. You only drag a card yourself if you want to override the flow, for example pulling a scheduled post back into Pending to rework it.

Creating a post manually

You do not need HERALD to create a post. The Create Post button (top-right of the board) opens a modal where you set:

  • Title, platform, content type, tags, and campaign.
  • Posting destination: which account or profile to publish to.
  • Scheduled date and initial status.
  • Body, written with the same rich-text editor (Edit / Preview toggle) as the review page, including the live per-platform character counter that warns you before a post runs over its limit.
  • Attachments: upload a file, generate an image, or pull one from the Media library.

Saving opens the new item directly in Review so you can approve or continue editing it there.

Filtering and search

A search bar at the top of the board filters across title, body, rationale, and tags simultaneously. Use it to find any post by keyword without knowing which column it is in.

The filter bar also lets you narrow by platform, content type, tag, campaign, or date range. Common saved views (My drafts, This week, Needs review) are pinned above the columns. A hide empty columns toggle collapses columns with no cards so wide boards stay readable.

Engagement on published cards

Published cards show the shared engagement strip (impressions, likes, comments, reposts, engagement rate) directly on the card. The comment count is clickable and opens the comment thread inline. See Inbox for the full conversation view.
