Working with HERALD
Chat
Chat is the main way you work with HERALD. It is a conversation, not a form. Ask for a single post, a week of content, a research report, a campaign plan, a rewrite of an old post, or just a list of topic angles to consider. HERALD figures out which kind of job it is and runs the right steps.

Getting better results out of chat
- Name the goal, not the words. “Explain why we moved off webhook polling” is better than “write 200 words about webhooks.”
- Name the voice. Founder, analytical, playful, dry. Or reference one of your Skills by name.
- Attach before you ask. Drag any file into the composer and HERALD uses it as context for the session. PDFs, transcripts, screenshots, spreadsheets all work.
- Dictate if you are on the move. Click the mic and speak the brief.
Example briefs that land well
Example 1
- YOU: Plan next week's LinkedIn. Three posts, mix of thought leadership and one product mention. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.
- HERALD: Drafts a plan, pulls three angles from your Knowledge Hub, produces three drafts, and drops them into Pending scheduled for the dates you asked for.
Example 2
- YOU: Take last Tuesday's LinkedIn post and re-tone it. Less corporate, more honest. Same length.
- HERALD: Re-tones the piece using your Brand voice skill, strips anything that reads as promotional, and hands you the new draft in under a minute.
