Getting the most out of HERALD

A handful of habits, learned from real setups, that get you to strong, on-brand posts faster.

HERALD works out of the box, but a little setup goes a long way. These tips come from onboarding real workspaces. None of them take long, and each one makes the drafts you get back noticeably better.

Seed the Knowledge Hub before you ask for drafts

Upload real, substantial material before you request your first post: brand guidelines, product one-pagers, customer stories, past posts you liked, anything with actual facts and phrasing. HERALD searches this material when it writes, so thin inputs lead to thin, generic output. Start with at least one solid document, and a handful is better. See the Knowledge Hub guide.

Teach your voice and set up a campaign before Autopilot

Before you turn on Autopilot, spend a few minutes on direction. Use the brand voice flow to paste a few posts you are proud of, and create at least one well-defined campaign with clear key messages. Autopilot reads your voice and your campaigns on every run, so show it what good looks like first.

Choose platforms per campaign

Each campaign posts only to the platforms you pick for it, and a standalone row covers posts that do not belong to a campaign. If a hiring push is LinkedIn-only while a launch spans LinkedIn, X, and Bluesky, set each campaign to its own list. Autopilot respects those choices and never sends a campaign to the wrong platform.

Review and edit freely for the first couple of weeks

Leave auto-publish off to start. Review each draft by hand, edit inline, and send posts back with a short reason when they miss. HERALD learns from every edit and every note, so after ten or fifteen reviewed drafts the output moves noticeably closer to your voice. Then turn on auto-publish for the tasks you have come to trust.

Connect every account and pick a default per platform

If you have more than one account on a platform (a personal and a brand handle, or several Pages), connect them all and pick which one is the default destination. That way publishing is never ambiguous and a post cannot land on the wrong account.
